Castle Lite put on yet another dope summer experience this passed  weekend bringing down Grammy nominee Wale. The Cape Town leg of the day-into-night concert took place at the Hillcrest Quarry in the Durbanville Hills, which was honestly one of the most craziest settings for a gig we’ve ever been too. We were held by the walls of the quarry and looked onto the stage which was floating in the water. The concert-goers were treated to a host of local acts, Djs and musicians alike, we’re talking mzansi’s alist, Khuli Chana, Jimmy Nevis, Ifani, Ready D and DJ Kent to name but a few. Wale hit the stage as the sun set, and boy did the concert pop. He wasnt messing around  with his performance, hyped by a homie from Jamaica, the two  interacted with the audience as the stood knee deep in the water singing along to all the lyrics. S/o Castle Lite for kick starting our Extra Cold Summer, its gonna be a good one if this was anything to go by. See image gallery below:
