This Friday, 28 February 2014, Fly On The Wall is hosting a fundraising jol at Side Street Studios for South African street dance legend Prince Mofokeng, who was diagnosed with an aggressive blood cancer earlier this year.
Prince was the star of Fly On The Wall’s multi-award-winning documentary The African Cypher, which will be screened outdoors at Side Street Studios on Friday.  There will also be an art auction from top South African artists; cheap dop; shisa nyama and live music. Doors open at 8pm and R50 gets you in, with all funds going to Prince’s cancer treatment.
“It feels like time has stopped,” says Fly On The Wall’s Filipa Domingues. “Prince is a South African street dance legend. His skills, attitude and life-story have inspired many people around the world. We are trying to help raise funds for him to help him through this very difficult time.”

“We’re calling upon anyone who has seen the film or been influenced by this beautiful human being to simply post a comment or a video of yourself dancing for Prince,” says Bryan. “Put your favorite song on and dance your heart out. Whether its weird white man wiggling, b-boying, pantsula, Sbhujwa or the lawnmower, Prince will love it.”
